Welcome to the Juggs

The picturesque Juggs in Kingston near Lewes is an idyllic English pub just five minutes' walk from the foot of the South Downs.

Inside the pub are original oak beams and a log fire in winter, creating a cosy atmosphere. There are two bar areas and two restaurants or you can also choose to eat outside. There's a large car park, and a Kid's Playground (council owned) near by the pub. We are pet and family friendly.

There’s an extensive drinks menu with more than 20 wines to choose from and a selection of Shepherd Neame’s award winning ales and lagers, Harveys Sussex Best is also ever present.

We serve food all day 12 until 9pm everyday and we are open for coffee from 10am.

Take Away Fish & Chips are available during food service hours

Quiz Night are held usually on the last Wednesday of the month. Please call us to check the next date.

What our customers say ...

Mid week lunch - We popped into the Juggs for a mid week lunch , the staff behind the bar were very welcoming, with a good sense of humour. Food was excellent , we were asked if all was o.k during our meal. We were very impressed . We will certainly recommend the Juggs to other people

Very happy with whole experience - I visited today and can't wait to go back as the service and food was excellent and nothing was too much effort, and the pub is in lovely setting

Very Well Doine - I organised a get together of old school friends & there were 18 of us, including two expats - one from Oz, the other from N.Z. We were allocated the back room and arranged the seating the way we thought would be most conducive to chatting. I'd already advised the choice of mains, some days previously. We were all served at the allotted time and everyone was agreed that the food & service were first rate. As it was the birthday of one of our members on that day, I had bought a huge cake which was served, after lunch with plates/spoons, with a candle and to the strains of Happy Birthday. Unfortunately, we could only eat half of it, so the bar & kitchen staff volunteered to finish it for us. All in all, a great lunchtime, enjoyed by everyone. Thanks Joice & all at the Juggs.
